September 4, 2020 Upgraded Security Features Available 9/28/2020 First National Bank and Trust's (FNBT) upgraded Personal Online Banking system will deliver an improved experience focused on flexibility, security and control. Multi-Factor Authentication Our enhanced multi-factor authentication is a way to verify your identity through an outside channel. When you log in through a new device, an authentication code is sent to you via email, text, or phone call for confirmation.
Self-Service Username & Password Reset With the digital upgrade comes the ability to reset your username and password utilizing an authentication code. Personal Online and Mobile Banking users will have self-service access to unlock your account.
Account Alerts Alerts provide notification via text or email as important triggers take place such as a security alert for contact information changes, or a balance alert if your account falls below a certain threshold.
Important Note: Alerts will not transfer with the upgrade. Starting September 28, you will need to re-establish your alerts.
Other Security Features
Business Online & Mobile Banking Token / Security Fob Multi-factor authentication will be modernized to a digital soft token for our Business Online & Mobile Banking customers. The Symantec VIP digital token will be downloaded to your computer or mobile device to initiate and approve ACH and wire transactions. Learn more about the soft token technology here >>
