Multi-Factor Authentication

Our enhanced multi-factor authentication is a way to verify your identity through an outside channel. When you log in through a new device, an authentication code is sent to you via email, text, or phone call for confirmation.

Self-Service Username & Password Reset

With the digital upgrade comes the ability to reset your username and password utilizing an authentication code. Personal Online and Mobile Banking users will have self-service access to unlock your account.

Account Alerts

Alerts provide notification via text or email as important triggers take place such as a security alert for contact information changes, or a balance alert if your account falls below a certain threshold.

Important Note: Alerts will not transfer with the upgrade. Starting September 28, you will need to re-establish your alerts.

Other Security Features

  • Touch and Face ID for enabled devices as well as PIN authentication available.
  • Complete control of your debit card all within FNBT’s Online Banking platform! With this feature, you can temporarily disable your card if it is lost or stolen.

Business Online & Mobile Banking Token / Security Fob

Multi-factor authentication will be modernized to a digital soft token for our Business Online & Mobile Banking customers. The Symantec VIP digital token will be downloaded to your computer or mobile device to initiate and approve ACH and wire transactions. Learn more about the soft token technology here >>

For the best online banking experience after the upgrade, please be sure to use an up-to-date web browser. Visit www.bankatfirstnational.com/digital-upgrade for more details about the upcoming core system upgrade!
