Small Business Saturday – Just Around the Corner
On Saturday, November 28, be sure to support the small businesses in your area. Small Business Saturday has grown more successful each year since it began in 2010. Last year, shoppers spent over $14.3 billion at their favorite local shops on Small Business Saturday alone. Let's work together to make this year's event the most successful one to date!

- Budgeting Basics – December 3 at 6:00 p.m. at Westside Middle School, 250 Brandegee Ave., Groton, CT
- Buying a Home of Your Own – December 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the Glastonbury Housing Authority, 25 Risley Rd., Glastonbury, CT

Holiday Parades
Join Chelsea Groton Bank as we get in the holiday spirit:
- Norwich Winterfest Parade, November 28, 1 – 4 p.m. Occurring in the Chelsea Parade Historic District, this year's parade theme is "Visions of the Holiday" and will include music, dancing, marching bands, floats and more.
- Groton Holiday Lights Parade, December 5, 5 p.m. The parade starts at South Road and ends at the Groton Shopping Plaza where Santa will light the holiday tree.
- Niantic Light Parade, December 12, 6 p.m. The largest holiday light parade in New England will occur on Main Street in downtown Niantic. Fireworks will kick-off the parade at 5 p.m.
