Chelsea Groton employees Go Red for Women

In an effort to bring awareness to heart disease in women, several Chelsea Groton employees wore red on Friday, February 6, American Heart Association's official Go Red for Women day. Over $600 was raised for the American Heart Association, including $50 from customers of the Waterford branch.

Chelsea Community Connection:

Stop by the Chelsea Groton Bank booth (#115) at the upcoming Eastern Connecticut Premier Home Show on February 21 and 22 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.) at the Mystic Marriott in Groton, CT. Co-produced by the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut and The Builders and Remodelers Association of Eastern Connecticut, admission to the event is free. Guests can attend a number of free seminars, including "Credit Do's and Don'ts" presented by Chelsea Groton Bank on Sunday from 3 to 3:30 p.m. Guests can also enter to win a cruise to the Bahamas and numerous door prizes. According to the Eastern Connecticut Home Show website, this expo "provides an opportunity for builders, remodelers and providers of interior and exterior home products and services to display the many talents and superior services available to the residences and homeowners of the region in a "Buy Local" atmosphere."
