Meet Joe DeMayo, VP, Commercial Loan Officer
 Joseph DeMayo, VP, Commercial Loan Officer, has been working for Chelsea Groton Bank for four years. A veteran of the industry, Joe has over 30 years of experience in the areas of commercial, business and community lending, lending management and branch management.
In his current role, Joe works to develop commercial loan relationships with business and community partners throughout New London and New Haven Counties.
Prior to joining Chelsea Groton, Joe was Vice President, Business Banking Officer at Citizens Bank, responsible for developing new business banking relationships and assisting branches to do the same in Middletown and New Haven Counties. Prior to that, he was a VP/Team Leader in Business Banking for the Southern Region for Webster Bank and a Senior Vice President in Business Banking for Wachovia National Bank.
Joe attended Southern Connecticut State University and University of New Haven. He is a graduate of The New England School of Banking at Williams College and has completed several certificates from AIB, D&B and Omega Performance.
Joe resides in Guilford, CT with his wife.
