Chelsea Groton Bank Employees Recognized for Outstanding Contributions to Bank, Community and Excellence in Education

Employees RecognizedChelsea Groton Bank recently recognized eight employees for outstanding contributions to the Bank and community. Fifteen team members were also presented with diplomas, certifications and awards for excellence in completing continual education courses.

Chelsea Awards and George Strouse "Spirit" Award
The Chelsea Award is presented each year to individuals with exceptional performance in the areas of sales, initiative and customer service. This year, Alyssa Bryan, Senior Direct Banking & e-Commerce Representative; Megan Foster, Assistant Branch Manager in Center Groton; Kim Friend, Marketing Design & Communications Specialist; Tom Gouin, Senior Teller in Sprague; Alyssa Kumpf, Accounting Assistant; and Liz Owen, Credit Analyst, were presented with the Chelsea Award. The George Strouse "Spirit" Award, which pays tribute to George Strouse, former Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Trustees, was presented to Beth Glynn, AVP, Retail Loan Originator and Alex Masse, VP, Business Banking Manager. It is awarded annually to employees who embody, and consistently demonstrate, the values and spirit of Chelsea Groton Bank through leadership, attitude and community service.

Employees Graduate from CT School of Finance and Management
Giusy Beaman, Assistant Secretary, Branch Operations Manager in the Norwichtown branch; Penni Harlow, Assistant Secretary, Branch Manager of the Mystic and Mystic Auto branches; and Jennifer Seuferling, Branch Manager of the North Stonington branch recently graduated from the Connecticut Bankers Association's Connecticut School of Finance and Management (CSFM).
