Crock Pot Chili Recipe
Ingredients:
Chili Seasoning
- 5 tablespoons chili powder
- 3 teaspoons of ground coriander
- 3 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½teaspoon ground black pepper
Mix together seasoning and set aside. You'll only need 6 teaspoons for this recipe, the rest you can save when stored in an airtight container.
Chili
- 2 pounds of lean ground beef
- 1 small minced Vidalia onion
- 1 small diced sweet red pepper
- 1 can diced tomato (28 ounces)
- 1 can tomato sauce (28 ounces)
- 3 cans beans (kidney, black , pinto, and/or small white)
Directions:
1. Cook ground beef in skillet then drain
2. Add minced onion, diced red pepper and 4 teaspoons of seasoning mix, sauté until onion is translucent
3. Combine tomatoes, tomato sauce, and two cans of beans in the crock-pot, add two more teaspoons of seasoning mix. Set Crock-pot on low.
4. Mash third can of beans and add to crock-pot along with meat mixture.
5. Stir together
6. Cook on low for 6 hours

- Crumbled Bacon
