BRINGING NEWS AND INFORMATION
TOGETHER FOR YOU.

Pam Luketich

Dear Friend,

Financial literacy—the ability to manage your money—is a great life skill. Consider the role money plays in:

  • Owning and prospering in your own home
  • Providing everyday essentials for you and your family
  • Realizing the dream of higher education for yourself or a loved one
  • Taking a much needed vacation or supporting your favorite charity
  • Reaching a comfortable, secure retirement

In today's world, achieving financial literacy can be complex. Faced with countless ideas about how to reach your goals, you may wonder what course to follow. And that's why, in 2004, we launched the bank's Community Education Program. Our financial literacy workshops provide you with the skills you need to take charge of your own financial well-being.

With Chelsea Groton for 25 years now, I'm proud to be the bank's community education specialist, teaching financial literacy to high school and college students, senior citizens, individuals and families. I partner with colleagues, educators and specialists in various fields, and serve on advisory boards for organizations including Grasso Tech, College to Work Coalition and the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, in order to support the bank's mission of helping people effectively manage their finances in order to make their long-term goals a reality.

Please join us as we celebrate Financial Literacy Month this April. With our suite of fun, effective, complimentary workshops you're sure to find at least one that meets your needs!
