Employee Spotlight: Get to Know Becky Jacoinski

Becky Jacoinski How long have you worked at Chelsea Groton Bank?
      •   24 years

What do you love about Chelsea Groton Bank?
      •   Gosh, where do I start?! Besides being voted one of the
          top workplaces in CT and our impressive community
         involvement, I love all the employees here at the Bank!

What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?
      •   Personally my biggest achievement would be my two
          boys and being married to my best friend for the past
          23 years! Professionally, I couldn't be prouder to be
          asked to lead the Bank's first ever corporate wellness
          initiative, CFit.

What projects are you currently working on?
      •   Currently the CFit Wellness Team and I just rolled out an 8 week Biggest Loser weight loss challenge!
          But weight loss is just one of the many wellness topics and is certainly not a one and done project. Wellness
          is an ongoing and ever changing process.

What is something about yourself most people wouldn't know?
      •   I am a duathlete. I love to compete in races that begin with a run, transition to a bike ride, then finish with
          another run, usually a 5K. They're grueling but fun.

How do you keep a healthy work/life balance?
      •   It's a combination of things. TOTAL well-being, if you will. I try to do my best every day to stay physically,
          nutritionally, mentally, and financially well.

Tell us a little bit about your life outside of work:
      •   I LOVE the beach! I enjoy running and staying active with my husband, our two boys, and our silver labrador
          retriever, Bullet!
