What do you love about Chelsea Groton Bank?
I love the community involvement. It's great to be part of an organization that encourages its employees to give so much back. I also really love the Cfit program, the Bank Wellness Program for employees!
What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?
My kids for sure! I have 2 daughters who are smart, adventurous and compassionate! I'm so lucky to be their mom!
What projects are you currently working on?
I'm getting ready for the Glastonbury Apple Harvest Festival on October 20th. Chelsea Groton Bank is the Finish Line sponsor for the Angry Orchard 5k Road Race and I organize the volunteers from Chelsea Groton. We hand out t-shirts to the kids who run in the 5k and congratulate the runners as they finish the race.
What is something about yourself most people wouldn't know?
I've been in the mortgage business for over 17 years and got my start at a now defunct subprime lender.
How do you keep a healthy work/life balance?
It's never easy. I think the key is being flexible and knowing that sometimes one does need to take priority over the other.
Tell us a little bit about your life outside of work.
With 2 kids, life is always busy. When I'm not with them, I love to read, run, go to the beach (not as often as I'd like!) and go to concerts.
