BRINGING NEWS AND INFORMATION
TOGETHER FOR YOU.

Michael Rauh Dear Friend,

We're celebrating our 160th anniversary July 3rd. We have a long and rich history and we're very grateful for the wonderful community relationships we've developed over the years.

Celebrating a big anniversary is not an easy task - we considered a book about the history of the bank, a commemorative gift, and special anniversary prizes and promotions - all ways to thank our customers, employees, and community partners for doing their part in making our corner of the world a better place to be. But at the end of the day, we realized what's most important is remembering what we are celebrating. For Chelsea Groton, it's all about the communities we serve.

With this in mind, we launched our 160 Acts of Kindness initiative to celebrate the Bank's 160th anniversary. We are very proud of the contributions that each of our employees make, often going above and beyond to enrich the lives of so many. Through the 160 Acts of Kindness initiative, Chelsea Groton will financially support a cause, non-profit agency or community event, selected by each of our employees, in the amount of $160.00.

Our employees are excited about the program, which began May 5th. To date, donations throughout Eastern Connecticut and beyond have benefitted the Wounded Warrior Project, a middle school student's tuition for a diabetes summer camp, Horses Healing Humans and local scholarship funds.

You can celebrate too! On July 3rd we're hosting a 160th anniversary party in each of our branches. Join us for some cake and share our salute to the great community in which we live.

We look forward to seeing you and thank you for helping to make Chelsea Groton Bank such a special place.

Sincerely,

Michael Rauh
President and CEO
